The bride, Sandra, wanted to keep her tower very simple and she loved the rose swirl. I have to admit that I am a great supporter of the less is more idea. Sometimes the less complicated a design is, the more elegant the outcome in the end.
All of the cupcakes and cutting cake were chocolate with vanilla buttercream. A classic flavour to say the least. Rose swirls covered the chocolate cutting cake with a black satin ribbon to finish it off. All of the cupcakes were in black foil cupcake liners and topped with a buttercream rose swirl.
I recommend all cupcake/cake decorators buy a 1M tip. I have about ten now because it’s such a versatile tip to have. I love my 1M tip: the perfect tip for rose swirling to your heart’s content.
