This year as brides plan their wedding, missing will be traditional wedding cakes. Believe it or not the hottest trend is serving wedding cupcakes instead. As a result brides are faced with how to fulfill the tradition of displaying and cutting the cake. This task is not so easy to do with wedding cupcakes.

Wedding cakes are changing and the traditional cake is being replaced with more unconventional cakes.

Many couples are opting for wedding cupcake cakes. If they want to do the traditional cutting of the cake, they should purchase a small cake to be placed on the side or top of the cupcakes. This can be used for the cutting and saved for their anniversary. In essence they can have their cake and eat it too!
