With just 10 days to go before Superbowl XLIII there is still time to plan for the big day with a sweet treat. I was overwhelmed by the number of cupcake ideas I found about the Steelers from their fans. I started to worry I would not be able to represent cupcake ideas about the Arizona Cardinals. Hmmn, was it because the team has never been to the Superbowl? Or are there just more Steelers fans in the world than I thought?
Finally! In celebration of the Arizona Cardinal’s first-ever appearance in an NFC Championship game, Sprinkles Cupcakes in Arizona will be offering 12 special Cardinals Red Velvet cupcake adorned with a Cardinals-themed red and white signature dot and ‘GO Cards.’
To even the score I also found custom made creations that do not reflect a specific team but the football from cupcake bakeries that feature only the field and footballs like those from Cake Muffin.
For those who are not choosing sides… there is Two Parts Sugar in California. They show off their latest work by creating tasty morsels representing both teams.
What if you are not a fan of either team? Well there are a few basic football cupcake ideas here for you too. Whether you are a Pittsburgh Steelers fan or an Arizona Cardinals fan you and your guest can enjoy these delicious treats while showing your team pride.
